LAST LESSON @ELS21

今年の卒業生クラスは、水曜、木曜、金曜日。

昨日水曜日クラスの本当に最後のレッスンが終わった。私は文法クラスで彼らに毎週会っていた。最後のレッスンはきっとお話をしようと思っていたはず、でも私はガチクラマーレッスンをした。最後に子ども達のレベルをちゃんと知っときたかったから・・・

どの子も大丈夫。大学に行っても全然困らないと思う。楽しんで！！

レッスンは終了１０分前に終わった。みんなそわそわ・・・「自転車の鍵を抜き忘れた、ぬいてくる」とか「アッ何とか・・・で外に出る。」私の頭は？？？

そしたらプレゼントと、とっても素敵な寄せ書きを持ってきてくれた。泣けるわ・・・

本当にありがとう。みんな大好き。本当にありがとう。

そして、忘れないでね。

今日、木曜日の会話クラスの生徒の最後のレッスンがある。当たり前に１５年決まった曜日に子ども達と毎週会ってきた。それが今日で終わる。今は実感がないけど、きっと4月に卒業生ロスで悲しくなるはず・・・

彼らは、どんなイベントにも参加してくれ、どんなことにも積極的に参加してくれた。だから経験値もすごい。どの子もすぐにリーダーになれ、周りを見て気にかけ困っている人がいたらサポートでき、瞬時に行動できる即決力と判断力が備わっている。そんな子ども達をこれからも育てていきたい！そう強く思っている。

素敵な保護者に出会え、こんなに素敵な生徒達に出会わせてもらえて本当に本当に幸せだった。感謝してもしきれない。長い時間一緒にいてくれたことに感謝。長い時間支えてもらえたことに感謝。そして、何より私自身を成長させてもらった。私とELS21と一緒に成長してくれた。彼女達との思い出は私の一生の宝物。

自信を持って突き進んでほしい。

大丈夫あなたなら！！

息つく間もないぐらい毎日が忙しくて本当に死にそう。それでも頑張ってこれたのはあなた達がいたから。あなた達を喜ばせたい一心だった。

その気持ちが私を動かしてきた。

One of our Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday classes graduated and will leave ELS this year. Yesterday, the Wednesday class had their last lesson. I prepared a little something for them to enjoy during the lesson. They gave us teachers a message board, presents, and letters, which was so sweet. I think they wanted to talk more, but I did a grammar lesson instead. They did really well, though. I wanted to measure their level before they left, but I think they'll be fine. I hope they have a good time at university.

Today, I have another final lesson for my Thursday class. It doesn't feel like they're leaving yet because for the past 15 years, they've always been here on the same day each week for their lessons. It's become a routine to see them on those days. But suddenly, I won't be seeing them anymore from April so I'll definitely miss them.

They're all wonderful students! They are the final batch of students who truly know me, and they're such an energetic group! They always want to try new things, and they have been very supportive of our school events. Because of their positive attitude and hard work, I always feel motivated by them. I am proud of them and happy I got to meet them. Thank you, parents and students. I hope the younger students can be more like them and be inspired to be great students.

Even though I have very busy days at ELS, they're here, and that helps me work harder. Good luck to all of you in the future!

And to my Thursday graduate students, I'll be waiting for you in class today!
